On Food Network’s Star Plates celebrities including Mindy Kaling, Erin Andrews, Colin Hanks, Alyson Hannigan, Minka Kelly and Busy Philipps were thrown into the fire for a culinary crash course as a line cook in their favorite chef's restaurant kitchens. Working side-by-side with the chef, they learned how to make their favorite dishes and helped service a dining room full of hungry, paying customers. Chefs included Marcus Samuelsson, Vinny Dotolo, Susan Feniger, Michael Voltaggio, Dakota Weiss and Geoffrey Zakarian, mentoring and teaching these famous foodies along the way.
